Definitely a whole lotta JGB at sugarmegs. Goldmine. Personally I hate the fact that each show is in one long .wma file but if ya just wanna dload and listen then you're in luck.

A pretty sweet bunch of Mp3 JGB shows at brentmydland.net . . each show nicely divided up unlike sugarmegs.

As far as them not being here, when I first came here about 6 weeks ago I noticed the lack of them, also. Had on my mind to start a thread to ask but here you are askin'. I feel it's just a stoopid shame that no shows are here. In my mind it makes no sense and I'm sure many feel the exact same way. If Koons wants to still release SBD shows in commercial release then that's wonderful . . . but the damn bulk of what we've always had freely available for trade is Audience copies so why not let those be free? Ya really think Jerry would care? He'd want us to have the music!!!

Here is a ticket stub I could find...
Note "NO TAPING".
Got stopped at the door with my taping rig by a cop. Went to the next entrance and made it in OK. Had to hold the mics by hand, but we were pretty close - 20th row or so - and the tape came out pretty good. Anyone want a copy?

Couldn't see your attachment.
Does the bluedevil refer to that team from Duke?
I lived in the Raleigh/Durham area from 85-95. Hung out (and taped) with Chedda, George H, Scott Wilder, Bryan B, etc. Know any of those guys?

I think even the larger venues were off limits as far as taping goes. Never saw Jerry at MSG or the Spectrum, but other venues of similar size (Merriweather Post, Cap Centre, Charlotte, Richmond, Binghamton, etc.) were no taping shows.
That doesn't necessarily mean there wasn't a fairly significant "taping section" though:-)
